I'm Blythe 

 

  I’m a storyteller who creates through illustration, animation, and murals.  Born and raised in Honolulu, the cultural flux inspires all parts of my art and self. Being Japanese, Filipino, Kanaka Maoli, Chinese, and Uchinaanchu,  I’m passionate about sharing Hawai’i's history, mo’olelo, the “mix-plate” identity, and Hawai’i's cultural niche.​

 

  I graduated from California College of the Arts with a BFA in Animation in 2023. My past clients include the Hawaiian Humane Society, Healthcare Association of Hawai’i, Art at Mark’s Art Gallery, and various small businesses and restaurants around  O’ahu.
